DISCOVERY

As a customer-centric product manager, I have found that product discovery is one of the most important phases of product development. In this phase, I focus on gaining a deep understanding of our users’ needs, behaviours, and pain points by conducting research and gathering feedback. I analyze this information to identify opportunities for innovation and growth and use it to create a product roadmap that aligns with the business goals of our company.

By prioritizing the needs of our users, we can create a product that truly solves a real problem for them, and that they will be excited to use.

As a product manager, it is my responsibility to identify the business’s strategic priorities.

I ideate and refine product work ideas that support the strategic priorities

I develop a product work plan (roadmap) that is crucial to categorize the sequence of product work based on the degree of impact and urgency

Communicate and iterate on the product strategy, aligning it with the leadership and team, and refining it based on internal and external changes and outcome metrics.
